Science degree in Wildlife
Science from Oregon State University
with an emphasis on population dynamics; fisheries and wildlife
ecology.
Ryan has
completed research on
reptile and amphibian populations in the Pacific Northwest, fisheries
populations in relation to landscape level ecological
factors, and public attitudes towards fisheries and wildlife
regulations and law enforcement. His personal interests lie in ecology
of uplands and freshwater ecosystems with an emphasis on wildlife
ecology. Ryan's recent work has included monitoring nest success and
disturbance in Bald eagles, ecosystem
assessment for projects within a
regulatory framework, and ecosystem restoration projects focusing
on
exotic species.
Ryan has elected part time employment while he attends the Pre-Medical
program at the University of South Florida.
