BREST Environmental Awareness Center

Donations are gratefully accepted.  In some cases, these donations may qualify for certain tax benefits.  Organizations or those sharing our philosophies may also qualify as SPONSORS.

Registration in Belarus requires that people and funding  be in place and offices be rented.  The donations in this organizational period will be used solely to organize and meet the registration requirements.  Once registered, remaining funds will be transferred to the operational cost center.

You may mail your donation to our host organization, The Stillwater Research Group, Inc.  Make the payment payable to Stillwater Research Group, Inc, with a clear note that the donation is for the BREST EAC.

The donations are being put in a separate fund and will be transferred to the BREST EAC once the organization is properly registered in Belarus.

OUR OPERATIONAL  GOAL

 The goal is to become an operational center open to the public by Spring of 2009.  There are several steps along the way.

Step one:  There are expenses associated with registering, obtaining space, utilities, and staff beyond our volunteer force.

Step two:  Ongoing operational expenses.  Our operational plan includes grants, small user fees, donations, and sponsors.

Our Step One Goal is $40,000.

Our current commitment will be posted here and updated monthly.

Please note that the Center is still being developed.  Funds are critical to our success in getting organized.  Stillwater Research Group, Inc. is a 501c3 (US Tax Code) organization and is sponsoring our organizating effort.  For more information, please contact the Organizing Committee.
